Desert Haze 2.0 update details: Supports 16-bit .Wav files. Added pitch set for .wav file (used in addition to the other pitch controllers). Pitch LFO depth from 1/12 semitone to 11 semitones. Filter sweep can be set to stereo now. AZ can samples are inactive when pitch is keyboard controlled. A ton of bugs were fixed, especially with the triggered samples.
Desert Haze is a VST plug-in that plays .wav or .mp3 files through a variety of effects to enhance and entirely change your listening experience. MIDI inputs control pitch/speed of .wav/.mp3 and trigger various samples.
Details: Click the file button and select a .wav (16-bit) or .mp3 file that you want to play. Select whether the pitch is modulated (tempo synced LFO with semitone depth), downtuned (-0 to -12 semitones), or keyboard controlled (glide rate slider included, snaps to C5). EQ (lo/mid/hi) with filter sweep (tempo synced, resonance control, stereo/mono), wav/mp3 volume. AZ cans trigger tune-able edited windows samples, a vocal sample with pitch set, and a Korg Monotron sample. EQ, pan and output. Reverb on/off, AZ reverb on/off (inactive when reverb is off). Size, width, damping, and mix controls for reverb. MIDI in is monophonic. Retrigger envelope on/off, bend range, Mp3 interpolation type selector, mp3 buffer size (write in), mono note latch selector, tempo write in (20-420), and a kill switch that mutes the .wav/.mp3 are all included.
